MESSE11: Peavey MuseBox

On-stage plug-in hosting solution      06/04/11

No flash plug

Peavey teamed up with Muse Research, who designed the Receptor, to bring you the MuseBox. The hardware has actually been in development for a while, and as yet there is no retail price or projected release date for the product.

What it offers though, is the technology implemented by Muse Research (and used by a huge list of major artists), in a format that is aimed at the working musician. The MuseBox looks set to be a reliable way to run plug-ins on stage without running the risk of CPU overloads that inevitably comes with using a laptop.
