Cakewalk's Brandon Ryan always seems to be able to demystify the sometime bewildering world of the heavyweight DAW and make things look not only easy, but inspiringly accessible, and this show was no exception.

He demonstrated how the new Skylight interface of Sonar X1 allows for some pretty powerful real time recording methods, using the Matrix view and some of the in-built virtual instruments.
