As part of Propellerhead's Music Making Month campaign this month UK distributor Sound Technology has announced Reason Record seminars for the students of a number of key educational institutions this week. Here's the press release with the details...

The seminars will also be presented publicly at the Music Production Show in Leeds on Friday 13th and Saturday 14th May, at 11am on both days.
The seminars will showcase the capabilities of the latest Reason Record production suite with a focus on inspirational techniques stemming from Reason Record's unique ability to visually "virtually cable" without limitation an entire studio of audio devices, plus the presenters will also giving insights into their particular expertise within the industry.
Mattias Häggström Gerdt, also known as 'anosou', is a Swedish composer, arranger, multi-instrumentalist, Propellerhead product specialist and game enthusiast. His heavy involvement in the game music arrangement scene resulted in his scores for the game 'Cobalt' being nominated for the Excellence in Audio award at this year's Independent Games Festival in San Francisco.
From Bjork, to Tina Turner, to Sheryl Crowe, Gary Bromham has worked with a best-of list in pop music over the years. His experience on large format mixers at Olympic Studios in London gives him a unique insight on how to approach mixing in Record 1.5's large mixer. Gary will show how he mixes and the very musical decisions that one faces during such a technical endeavour.
