Two Notes Audio Engineering, manufacturer of the Torpedo range of guitar amp/speaker simulation hardware and software, has announced the release of an update for its Torpedo Capture software. The application enables guitarists to capture their own amp/microphone configurations for use within the Torpedo VB-101 (pictured above), VM-202 or PI-101.
Available for both Mac OSX and Windows, Version 1.4 of the software contains several new features designed to facilitate the capture and file handling process. These include a redesigned user interface, support for aiff files and a newly added Batch Convert mode. A link has also been added to an online tutorial, which gives a step-by-step introduction to setup, recording, file creation and upload into the relevant Torpedo hardware unit.
