Q: What do you call a beautiful woman on a trombonists' arm?
A: A tattoo.
Trombonists tired of the jokes may want to consider the latest innovation in flamethrowing trombone technology, Scott's Flamebone, aka the Frankenhorn.
We've featured pyro Jonathon Crawford's flamethrowing trombone previously and, frankly, we doubted that there was much of a future for musical flamethrowers.
The Flamebone proves, though, that there's still plenty of room for innovation in this area. In fact, the Flamebone can shoot a fireball 21 feet and a concussion wave up to 150 feet.
Unfortunately, it can be difficult to play while flamethrowing because of the recoil. Now, if the flamethrower could just produce flames bidirectionally, the recoils would cancel each other out.
Note: The woodwind section is advised to watch your back......
