Steinberg has announced the fifteenth anniversary of Virtual Studio Technology (VST). Here's what they have to say...
As an open standard, VST offers a sheer range of possibilities which is constantly growing.
"Introduced in 1996, VST creates a full, professional studio environment on your PC or Mac computer. With the latest 3.5 version released this year, VST offers many new highlights, amongst others Note Expression which provides the ultimate flexibility for note articulation," says Timo Wildenhain, product marketing manager for VST corporate relations.
Due to this special occasion Steinberg is presenting monthly limited special offers under the moniker "Just 15". Each bundle is newly determined on a monthly basis. Each promotion lasts for fifteen minutes or is limited to fifteen units which are offered through the Steinberg Online Shop. The bundles will be available on the day of the promotion at 3 p.m. CEST.
"With this slightly different kind of sales promotion Steinberg wants to acknowledge VST's successful story and, at the same time, is also a wonderful way to give something back to its customers," comments Frank Simmerlein, director of marketing at Steinberg.
