Synapse Audio Software has announced the release of a new software synthesizer - EKS Pro. This new VST/AU instrument is a complete overhaul of the former EKS-9 drum synthesizer plug-in. Featuring six models, the EKS Pro now covers both vintage analog kick drums.
Other than the four new models added to the EKS, it is now possible to precisely control the curvature of the pitch and amplitude envelopes.
Other improvements:
- Audio Unit and VST (Mac) now 64-bit too
- Key Tracking can be turned off
- Mono-Legato mode for pitched sounds
- More precise envelope control
- Frequencies now in Hertz (Hz) for unpitched sounds
