Primus Stream New Song Online

11 year wait is over   18-Aug-11

It's been more than a decade since Primus released their last studio offering, but on September 13th, the band will release their 7th studio album Green Naugahyde.

Today the band teamed up with Spin.com to stream their first song from the album, 'Tragedy's A-Comin'', which you can listen to here.

We've also embedded a live fan-shot video of the song from Bonnaroo.

The song is funky-as-hell, to say the least, and has some rather dark subject matter, as Les Claypool explained to Spin.com:

"Lyrically, this is me focusing on eventual demise or at least the notion that big rain is coming and at some point I'm going to get pretty fucking wet… Who says lemmings can't dance as they go over the cliff?"
