Focusrite just introduced the Scarlett 2i2 - a breakthrough price/performance 2 channel USB audio interface, featuring 2 quality Focusrite mic preamps (same as in the Saphire range).
The boffins at Focusrite laboratories have squeezed every ounce of performance out of the A/D and D/A chips with some good design and brought the performance into a new class for such a low cost USB interface.
You also get a suite of Focusrite plug-ins to sweeten up your sound.
