SF And Horror Sounds For Camel's Alchemy

Biolabs: Dark Space for Alchemy and Alchemy Player released 02-Nov-11

Camel Audio has announced the release of Biolabs: Dark Space for Alchemy and the Free Alchemy Player. Biolabs: Dark Space contains 75 presets.

Camel Audio tell us that Biolabs: Dark Space is a nightmare blend of science fiction and horror that is both fascinating yet strangely chilling. They say that, featuring an extensive collection of moody and twisted soundscapes, tortured machines, a host of distressed hits, scrapes and evolving impacts, possessed basses, freaky effects and disembodied voices, each of its 75 presets is a mini-world of possibilities fuelled by fiendishly clever programming.

A Camel Audio PR person had this to say,

"With over 1 GB of newly sampled material spanning warped alien artefacts to liquid terrors, dark space is by turns organic and machine-like - a wicked confection to bend your music in strange new ways. Biomechanoid is a respected sound designer, well known for his original Biolabs: Alchemy Labs collection, and his Absynth presets. He has also designed sounds for various games and Hollywood movies."

Camel Audio say that all presets have been carefully designed with Polyphonic Aftertouch for even greater expression. They tell us that the forthcoming update to the Alchemy Mobile App transmits Polyphonic Aftertouch opening up a new world of expressive sound control - "Imagine being able to sweep through each sample of a chord, or tweak the filter of each held note with your fingertips."

Pricing and Availability:
Biolabs: Dark Space costs $35 / €29 / £25 and works with the included Alchemy Player.

SO MUCH WANT!

CamelAudio 01-Nov-11 08:10 AM

- each preset could be considered an instrument in it's own right. there is an almost limitless set of possibilities using Alchemy or Alchemy Player. The Player is free - check it out ;-)

it's a preset library guy. try again.

djSolsta 31-Oct-11 10:11 AM

It's a synth guy.......different people do different things with it and it has almost infinite variations. Or maybe we should stop using instruments in our songs altogether since other songs contain instruments
