The combination of Metallica and Lou Reed suddenly seems to make much more sense when you see it as a live spectacle.
Metallica and Reed performed this weekend on Italian show, Che Tempo Che Fa, continuing their visit to Europe.
The highlight, as with their performance on BBC's flagship Later... With Jools Holland, was the performance of the Velvet Underground cult anthem 'White Light/White Heat".
The group also performed 'Iced Honey' from the Lulu album.
Lulu was released on November 1st, you can buy the album here. The album has currently sold around 16,000 copies.
