Premier Guitar's latest Rig Rundown video is essentially a 22-minute-long schooling in tone.

Steely Dan guitarist, Jon Herington, shows his incredible range of guitars, amps and effects, and more importantly talks about the gear in great detail.

Jason Shadrick caught up with the band on their 2011 Shuffle Diplomacy Tour in Milwaukee, WI.

The definite highlight is four minutes in, when Herington shows off the tonal variety offered by his Fender Telecaster, which features three single-coil pickups, and some clever wiring.
