Try Electronic Drum Kits Before You Buy

Yamaha Music UK have announced a Try Before You Buy loan scheme for their top of the range DTX 900 series electronic drum kits, designed to offer potential customers the chance to gain a deeper experience of what the series has to offer.
The innovative four-month program goes live on December 1st, is completely free of charge and is without obligation. Its aim is to allow customers the opportunity to use a DTX900 series kit, set up by trained staff from Yamaha's dealer network, for up to 7 Days so they can evaluate the instrument and suitability for their use and ambitions in their own environment.
Yamaha believe that demand will be very high and tell us that the loan stock is inevitably limited.
Yamaha's Gavin Thomas told us, "Try Before You Buy' is a good opportunity for people who are considering the investment of High End electronic drum set but have not had the time to uncover what the DTX900 series can offer. This is a high value purchase and we want to support our customers by giving this opportunity without any obligation."
Yamaha say that the DTX900K and DTX950K have proved highly popular with serious amateur players and top professional drummers alike thanks to a combination of great sounds and authentic acoustic 'playability'. At the heart of the kit lies Yamaha's unique ' Textured Cellular Silicone' pad technology which the company says offers unprecedented dynamic control, comfort and feel for players with unprecedented low volume. Alongside the new pad technology, the DTX900 module combines advanced sound technology and a wide variety of samples from many of Yamaha's acoustic drum models, providing a wide palette of sound and creative options for players. Coming complete with Cubase AI5 software, Yamaha say that the DTX900 series can be linked directly to the computer to discover the world of Music Production, recording and editing in great detail.
