KORN Sounds In Stompboxes

TC Electronic announces two new TonePrints created by James 'Munky' Schaffer of KORN 03-Jan-12
KORN Sounds In Stompboxes

TC Electronic's TonePrint concept lets the best guitarists in the world create custom tones that can be loaded into pedals. Next up is KORN's James 'Munky' Schaffer with two brand new TonePrints. Here's what TC has to tell us,

"Munky plays the hard-hitting guitar in hit metal band Korn, and now he has created TonePrints for TC Electronic's Corona Chorus and Flashback Delay pedals. When Munky created his 'Drowning Chorus' TonePrint for Corona, he found a sound that goes from a subtle single chorus to an extreme widespread Tri-chorus, covering most grounds. For his Flashback Delay TonePrint, Munky aimed for an unusual lo-fi effect – a filtered delay that adds a squashed quality to the guitar sound. Schaffer decided to simply call his TonePrint for Flashback Delay 'Lo-fi'."

About James 'Munky' Schaffer
Munky started playing the guitar when he was 13 years old and he has not put it down since. Shaffer is a key member in Korn, who had their mainstream breakthrough with their second album 'Follow the Leader' in 1998. They have sold 16 million albums in the US alone and over 60 million albums worldwide. Shaffer gets his inspiration from shredding guitarists like Steve Vai, Eddie Van Halen and Randy Rhoads.

Pricing and Availability:
Both of Munky's TonePrints are available as free downloads online as well as on the TonePrint App that allows guitarists to simply beam TonePrints via the pickups on their guitars to their pedals.
