Binary Music has announced the release of their Valve 4 Op sample library for Native Instruments Kontakt 4.
Valve 4 Op is a detailed sample library of sounds from the Yamaha TX81Z. In total, there are 112 instruments made from 2,342 discrete samples. The samples were recorded in 24 bit at 44.1 kHz through an Inward Connections Vac Rac 4000 valve pre-amp.
A Binary Music spokesperson told Sonic State, "The TX81Z was perhaps most famous for the Lately Bass preset, and we have gone to extremes to capture every nuance – 12 velocity layers and 420 un-looped samples."

I Don't Like Music    Said...

There are a number of synths that deserve this loving attention to detail but the TX81Z isn't one of them. And since you can load TX81Z sysex into NI's FM8, it all seems rather pointless.

The TX 81z is one of my favourite synths and the all the virtual emulation have a total different carachter, still loving the original one
