I dont know that Studio look a little light in the ass lol you could have at least made the screen flip up & a midi in and out in the rear. at 599 maschine has more physicial Midi Outs. This looks tooooo FLAT at 599 maschine would be a better buy. maschine Mikro is only 399 you should call this Renaissance Mikro and sell it for 399. HIPHOP made in amercia but you pay 599 live in th UK buy it for 399 hmmmmmmmmm
cool video and i would like to know is this better than the mashine peace
check out Propellerhead which is my best friend these days. Peace
its way over priced. 500, 1000 and 2500 are worse than legacy MPCs. 1000 and 2500 have such bad OS that a user had to make his own, and this JJ OS is more popular that standard AKAI. Listen to your users. Listen to those that supported you to build a legacy. Analog outputs, fantastic internal FX, stand alone, bullet proof machines is what we need. the internal memory is a joke in legacy machines...but it is still a joke in your currently line. 16MB standard? Are you serious? 128MB is $140? cmon.
How can a good company like AKAI use such a lousy and bad promotion video? AKAI wants to sell their products... but not with an ad like this! How can they sell their product with a bad ad like this? Horrible! You should do a much better video to reach a bigger audience!
Akai MPC Studio looks promising and hopefully it has a realy good build quality and good pads. The pads on "Machine" aren't the best ones...
Good ! Check this kids from Paris france ! it's a beatmaker composer with a AKAI MPD32 , the man call "Cookie Monster Music" ! so good this kids ! thx for your video !
VERY GOOOOOOOOOOOD !!!!
salr lake city music. check out my channel! we run the lake sneak peak song! check it out and tell me what you think thank you 801
i think best is 2500 or 4000... 5000 is shit :p
And one more thing. Do u NEED a computor like u do with the reinassance?
Hey guys. Im a beginner at producing. I started usin ipad apps to make songs n stuff. Now i wanna get some good equipment that is easy to use and is a reasonable price. Would u guys recomend this?
Do you need a computer with this?
Aside from the fact that legacy MPCs are legacy because they are no longer produced, the Renaissance IS like having a legacy MPC. Not only can it sound exactly like an MPC3000 and emulate others, the workflow is the same. If you're used to working on an MPC you can get your head into this and know what to do straightaway, without even looking at the computer. However, when you need it, your computer is there to provide vastly more than a legacy MPC could ever provide.
is it possible to just have the computer software + use a legacy MPC as a controller? I feel like that would be more interesting.
excuse me, can you give the price in US, cuase in a web page it doesn´t appear, and its to sell now ?? Thnx
to be honest MPC5000 can only be called studio... any thing that requires PC or MAC is just a contoller anyway...but hey, it's your business, non of my business
Or you could cut the bullshit and do it right with a release we've waited so long for. What, tellin' us you couldn't just make the Renaissance to be standalone and control the software?
stop fronting its great it even has a software.
They need to hurry up n drop this shit!!
$599, same price as Maschine
Hey Could someone help me out im trying to figure out if i should get this or the MPK61 , I originally planned on getting this but idk im wondering if id be better off with the keys at my disposal , HELP would be appreciated thank you Lmao
why does it say same mpc software ? when has any other mpc been software based ? and so this one is gonna be $599 yet the renaissance will be double that just for more knobs bigger size an inputs ? im not gonna pass full judgement until i use one of these but its obvious your trying to compete with the maschines market why not make it priced competively aswell ? this does look dope though im still saying that lol
why so high, you can buy a used mpc for that.
600 for a controller that only has pads? the mpd has knobs and faders and cost a lot less and does the same thing.
"MASCHINE Vs MPC Studio .... The battle is on !" MASCHINE WINS!
You can still get the MPC5000.
"Studio" is projected at $599 in the US.
Once it makes it to your local retailer you can put your hands on it. Its hard to judge from a video ;) You won't be disappointed.
I have a 2500... but i want this too!
Connect it, choose SCSI as Input on the "Shift+Load" Screen ;)
i need help on how to use scsi to my zip drive
looks sorta cheap and plasticy. I like the look of the older mpcs more
Why ? Floppys are ok, Scsi is better ...
i have the 2000xl but it kinda sucks using SSCI still lol
@KnockSquared - too right! LOL
Oh well at least they changed the name. It was originally going to be called: the Akai-DSFSMF (Dope-shizzle-fo-sure-muthaf*cka)
You can still get an MPC5000 if you prefer a standalone MPC.
be better if it was standalone machine not just a controller
What is the cost, haven't seen that anywhere.....
the software will export/import mpc format...
awww fuck..i just have a lowly MPC 5000..fuck my life
LOL, you're the man Knock, AND one of the reasons why i copped a Maschine!!!
does the akai max 49 use the same software as the new mpcs? :S
seeing as how the Renaissance is $1299, im betting this will be around $700.... they cant compete with Maschine with these wack prices...
she's dead now... :( first victim of the akai mpc renaissance video.
...lol...you wont even have to do that...the cat will strangle himself if this keeps playing
lol - that was my daughter! don't mob me on the internet. :) i favourited Blu & Exile - "So(ul)Amazing" for example... now i really got to get my own youtube-account!
favorited Katy Perry - Teenage Dream .....
