Virsyn have been in touch to tell us that they have updated theirAddictive microSynth to version 1.1 with Support for the AKAI SynthStation 25. A virsyn spokesperson told us,
"It was never so easy to create beautiful sounds and driving loops. The unique dynamic wavetable synthesis allows you to explore an unprecedented wide range of sonic territory. From acid loops, crystal clear percussions, realistic human choirs to complex musical sound scapes nothing seems impossible with only a handful parameters to tweak. With Version 1.1 you get instant hardware access together with the AKAI SynthStation 25. Use the hardware buttons for scrolling through presets and arpeggios, operating the Arpeggiator and rolling our famous dice to get instant new arpeggio creations!
Pricing and Availability: Addictive microSynth costs $1.99
like.. all i can do is hit the keys, and tweak that little line a bit so it sounds different, but i would like to learn how to use the little knobs under each of the tabs.. i'm a noobie @ this synthesizer stuff :s
I just purchased this through iTunes, but i'm having trouble using it.. is there some sort of manual? that would be cool if you could send me the link.. i search through google, but all i find is reviews about it... or you own advice on how to??. it would be awesomely appreciated, thanks.
- there are only minor differences: less polyphony ( 4 instead of 8 voices ) and a few arpeggiator edit functions are missing, but they were only cosmetical...
Nice :) When will Addictive Synth have a 4 track recorder? ;)
