Roland Corporation U.S. has announced that the JUPITER-80 and the V-Drums TD-30 are recipients of this year's prestigious mipa Musikmesse International Press Award for Synthesizer Hardware and Electronic Percussion. Considered by many the "Grammy" of the Musical Instrument/Pro Audio industry, mipa awards have been presented each year during the Musikmesse/Prolight + Sound since 2001.
This year, more than 100 members of the international press voted for the best musical instruments of 2011/2012. Awards were presented during a special ceremony on Thursday, March 22, 2012, in Frankfurt, Germany. More information:
