Its fair to say that some subjects are less willing than others to be on camera, Helen was one of those people - but totally without reason, she gave us an interesting tour of the current range of portable and NAS devices, with a glimpse into the future. We'll be seeing 1.5TB 2.5 7200 RPM drives soon which is great news - at least for us - we need lots of storage when covering shows.

Also of interest was the new Verbatim USM Portable Drives. These dont have a built in bridge but come with interchangeable cables that contain the relevant interface  (USB/FireWire/Thunderbolt). A neat idea.
