A Rhodes 73 Played Every Which Way

Soniccouture release EP73 Deconstructed Kontakt player instrument      14/05/12

Soniccouture have released a new Kontakt player instrument, EP73 Deconstructed, which they describe as a complete exploration of a vintage Stage 73 electric piano.
The main Kontakt instrument features a very detailed sampling of the traditional keyboard instrument, with key-offs, pedal noise, round-robins and sympathetic resonance from the EP's harp mechanism. Microphone and contact mic channels are also available to add different dynamics and textures to the classic line-out sound.
Then comes the 'Deconstructed' part : Soniccouture have also created four other separate kontakt instruments using unconventional techniques :
  • Bowed
  • Plucked
  • Mallets
  • SFX
Soniccouture tells us that each of these instruments offers a completely different take on the electric piano sound, using the pickups and tines in different ways to generate new musical pitched tones which are then mapped to Kontakt's keyboard. Pricing and Availability:
$129 / €99.
Introductory offer: 25% off ( $96/€74 ) until 29.05.2012 (Just enter the following code at checkout :3JDD87D) More information:
