IK Multimedia, manufacturer of mobile music creation apps and accessories for iPhone, iPod touch and iPad, has announced that seven of its audio accessories, including iRig, iRig MIC, iRig MIC Cast, iRig MIX, iRig STOMP and iRig PRE have been tested and are fully compatible with Apple's new iPhone 5 without the need any additional adapter or hardware. In addition to these audio accessories, IK announced that its iKlip MINI universal mic stand adapter for iPhone is also compatible with the new iPhone 5. This means that IK Multimedia users can continue to rely on their accessories after upgrading to Apple's latest phone.
As IK's audio accessories connect to the iPhone via the headphone jack, rather than the dock connector, users won't have to purchase adapters to access the iPhone 5's new connector, as required with accessories from many other companies.
