Experimentation is the beginning of creation - and as a guitarist, the fun is often in experimenting. Turning all of your pedals on at once, hooking them up in the 'wrong' order, or multiple distortions on at once and doing things differently just to see what'll happen: you know you wanna do all of this right now and jam an A-powerchord full volume!

At TC we thoroughly encourage creativity and through years of audio experience have proven the validity of what we do, we try to make our products as open ended as possible - that's why so many guitarists love tweaking our stuff and getting unexpected results that fuel creativity.

We've gathered the most experimental sounds from some of the world's cutting edge guitarists into a free package of Toneprints for you to download and then take to a new level. These are some of the most creative sounds available, aimed at sparking your creativity, ideas and music.

Creativity is Contagious
Music is an ongoing experiment, and the way you want things to sound is an individual expression of who you are. This is the same with famous musicians and rockstars – which was a big reason for us doing TonePrints. TonePrints are best described as custom built, signature effects. We've asked the best players of all genres and styles to give us their spin on our world renowned TC Electronic effects.
For our experimental package, we focused on Omar Rodríguez-López (The Mars Volta), Troy Van Leeuwen (Queens Of The Stone Age), Lee Ranaldo (Sonic Youth), Knox Chandler (a.o. Depeche Mode), Bumblefoot (Guns'n'Roses, Grand Baton (a.o. Richard Bona) and Reeves Gabrels (David Bowie).

These guitarists are all famous for their creativity and daring tones. After giving them access to an immensely deep editor they were able  to craft their signature version of a TC TonePrint pedal (Delay, Reverb, Chorus, Vibrato or Flange) which they are using live and in the studio. The most left-field creative and experimental guitarists known to music supplied their tones to this package and you can download them into your pedal via USB or our totally free TonePrint App for iOS and do your worst ... or best.

Since we value tone experimentation so much, we're including four exclusive, ultra cool experimental TC TonePrints! Spatial Indulgence, a modulated Reverb TonePrint using the Cathedral setting in combination with the TriChorus. It is designed for longer Reverbs, but works great with shorter times too. Stratosfear, a heavy modulated Reverb Toneprint using the Club setting in combination with the Advanced Flanger. Rampage, an interesting TonePrint that uses the Vibrato Latch type and RingMod, which combines very short delay times with extreme amounts of feedback to create a pseudo ring modulator effect. Use the delay time knob to fine tune the effect and the feedback control to control the intensity of the effect.
