WNAMM13: Stompbox Provides LIve Effects For Singers

DigiTech has introduced its Vocalist Live FX vocal effect processor. They tell us that the Vocalist Live FX features over 65 effects, studio quality sound and live adapt listening technologies designed to give performers the ability to immediately adapt to cues in the room, a band, and the singer.

Scott Klimt, marketing manager for DigiTech, told Sonic State, "We designed the Vocalist Live FX to help support singers by producing amazing vocal effects right out of the box that will empower their performances. Vocal performers will immediately benefit from the easy-to-use studio-quality effects and the industry's most advanced live listening technologies."

Here's more details directly from Digitech...

The Vocalist Live FX provides professional-quality effects with built-in Lexicon reverb and dbx compression and AFS. Providing a greater level of control for performers, the Vocalist Live FX also features an anti-feedback setting and live adapt capability which provides a built-in microphone for tempo assist, pitch assist, and smart gate using DigiTech's proven vocal technologies.

The Vocalist Live FX is designed to enhance and improve virtually every element of a vocal performance. A sound check button automatically tests the presets for current room acoustics and the built-in Mic Pre+ allows the singer to engage their channel strip with the press of a button so they can sound great almost instantly. The unit also offers phantom power for the addition of condenser microphones.

Pricing and Availability:

The Vocalist Live FX will be available in April 2013 with an MSRP of $349.95.
