New Nord Drum Performance Video

Jamiroquai's Derrick McKenzie gives it some with the Nord Drum virtual analogue drum synth      07/02/13

Nord and UK distributor Sound Technology Ltd have released a new video showcasing the performance capabilities of the Nord Drum virtual analogue drum synthesizer.  Jamiroquai's Derrick McKenzie performs via electronic pads and acoustic triggers, whilst London-based musician/producer Harry Coade plays via MIDI with the Nord Beat control app for iPad.

The Nord Drum is a 100% virtual analogue drum module that its makers say is capable of a sonic palette and dynamic response far beyond the limits of sample-based alternatives.

Well done and boring at the same time! Thought it was supposed to be an add on to an acoustic kit? which is why it lacks separate outs. where are all those disco toms???

See that iPad, in a couple of years Clavia will not support it anymore like they did with the Nord Modular. I purchased my last Nord five years ago and learned my lesson. No more Clavia products for me.
