Kraftwerk The Catalogue
When Kraftwerk announced that they would be playing in London's Tate Modern - an exhibition space housed in an old power station on the banks of the Thames, phone lines were melted, websites crashed as ticket sales went wild and the audience seemed to have developed the sort of mania one reserves for boy band acts like One Direction or some other X-Factor clone.
Bear in mind that the entire lineup is in their sixties and about as far as you can get from pop pinup.

It's an interesting concept for a series of concepts, Titled: Kraftwerk – The Catalogue 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8.  8 nights playing all their previous album releases in chronological order, together with a smattering of new material.

Last nights show was Computer World  (1981)- featuring the classic Pocket Calculator - written back when such things were a vision of the future and by all accounts the audience were rapturous - as they seem to be for all of the dates up to know

So far, the reviews have been glowing, tickets are fetching over £200 each as news of the spectacle is spreading.

I wish I was going..
