The first track to be released from the new Jimi Hendrix album, People, Hell and Angels, is 'Earth Blues. You can listen to it below.
Studio and live recordings of the song are already in the public domain, and have been for some time, although the version of 'Earth Blues' which appears on People, Hell and Angels appears to be a different studio recording to the one which has ended up on previous Hendrix rarities.
The backing singers and instrument tracking sounds identical though, so it could be that it is merely a different take from the same recording session, intended for First Days of the New Rising Sun.
The digital release for 'Earth Blues' will come in May, and here's the track list for People, Hell and Angels:
