Its been three years since we last heard anything from dynamic helmeted duo. Yesterday Daft Punk released a new image on their facebook page and a link to daftpunk.com which hosts only the picture...

The image confirms that they have signed with new label Colombia records after leaving Virgin last year. It is expected that they will release their forth album this spring, however if you're hoping to see them live then you may have to wait a bit longer, with both Emily Eavis denying that they will play glastonbury and DJ Rob da Bank (Radio 1, Bestival) denying that the duo would be touring in 2013.

"We got told months ago that Daft Punk were definitely not touring next year, but it keeps the rumour mill going."

But you never know with these things, it could all be an elaborate plot to fool you all...
