JBL Professional and UK distributor Sound Technology Ltd has announced significant price reductions on all EON Series portable PA models in the UK/ROI.  They tell us that the EON500 Series and EON300 Series featuring superlative build quality and sonic performance are now available at up to 37%, although in most cases around 25%, off previous recommended retail prices. Here's the details from Sound Technology...

The top of the range EON 515XT - the most popular model - has been carefully voiced to deliver stunningly accurate audio performance.  It features 625W of built-in Crown amplification, 15" JBL Differential Drive Woofer and 1" JBL neodymium compression driver, intuitive 3 channel mixer and circuit protection, and is now just £589 inc VAT, compared with a previous price of £798 inc.  The EON515XT is possibly the lightest 15" self-powered speaker in its class weighing in at under 15kg.

The extremely compact yet superb sounding EON 510 10" version featuring 280W of power has the largest price saving, now £449 inc VAT compared to £714 RRP inc VAT.  Incredibly for a full-range powered speaker, the EON510 weighs less than 8kg.

The companion EON 518S 500W powered subwoofer featuring an 18" JBL Differential Drive woofer is now £779 inc VAT compared to its previous price of £1026 inc VAT. It too is extremely lightweight for its class, weighing under 30kg.

The EON 315 meanwhile is a self-powered 280W 15" version, also featuring built-in 3 channel mixer, and is now £449 inc VAT compared to a previous price of £599 inc VAT.

Finally, the EON 305 is a 15" passive model capable of handling up to 500W of programme power. It now retails at £299 inc VAT compared to a previous price of £456 inc VAT.
