ILIO tells us that they have introduced a collection of 204 new patches for Omnisphere consisting of risers and swells, presented in an entirely new way. They say that Ascension was designed to give the user control to choose the timing of each riser and swell. Presented in 2, 4, 8, and 16 bar iterations (with a few 1 bar versions included), each riser finishes its crescendo at the right ending point, no matter the tempo, every time. Whether short transitions or anticipation-inducing builds are needed, Ascension's bar-based structure and layout give the end user the choices they need.

Also, unlike other riser and swell libraries of the past, each sound in Ascension holds and transforms intro drones or pulsations after the crescendo, allowing beats and other elements to be added on the downbeat. Or the keys can be release after the final beat is completed to bring the sound to an end.

Ascension was designed for EDM producers and DJ's, as well as Film and Television composers. Each patch pulls from Omnisphere's synthesis engine and its included samples and effects engine.

As an added bonus, Ascension adds a side-chain compression simulator to the modulation wheel that emulates the popular "four on the floor" pumping effect. Many patches are also optimized for use with The Orb for more real-time control on stage and in the studio.

Ascension contains 204 patches, including up to 4 different bar lengths for each sound. Ascension has been added to ILIO's EDM Bundle which includes EDM - Ignition and EDM - Fire for a cost savings.

Pricing and Availability:

Ascension Patches: $19.99

EDM Bundle: $49
