Fairlight For Kontakt

Bitley port their Fairlight ReFill over to NI's sampler      30/08/13

Fairlight For Kontakt

Bitley tells us that the long time project for translating their Fairlight refill to Native Instruments Kontakt sampler is now finally finished. They say that the finalized product, Fairlight Kontakt, comes with over 850 sounds, all derived from the hard work with the refills.

A spokesperson told us, "The following days will be spent creating new demo songs but the soundbank is available now. It is made with and for the latest Kontakt 5 updates (5.2) and the price is 79 USD for the downloadable gigabyte-size soundbank. The sounds go from very raw and unpolished 1980s Fairlight samples to more neat Emulator 2 flutes and lands somewhere in the Roland D50/JD800 era with big and evolving pad sounds. All things considered, we think we have made a must-have product for anyone inspired by Art Of Noise, Enigma, Vince Clarke, Peter Gabriel, Kate Bush and A-ha."
