Guitar Center Sessions Brings Guitar Back To Our TVs

Korn, Lissie, Joan Jett and Gary Clark Jr feature in the new series   30-Oct-13

While guitars are fading from our TV screens slowly but surely, hopefully just while we're waiting for the next rock and roll revolution to oust the teeny boppers from MTV, Guitar Center have announced the return of their TV show - Guitar Center Sessions.

The series will see the likes of Korn, Gary Clark Jr, Lissie, Joan Jett and Coheed and Cambria performing sessions inside the flagship Sunset Boulevard Guitar Center store in Hollywood.

"With millions of viewers tuning in each month, it is clear that there is an audience seeking the type of quality music programming that has otherwise virtually disappeared from television in the past decade," says Dustin Hinz, Director of Music and Entertainment Marketing Guitar Center.

"Guitar Center Sessions aims to fill that void while providing musicians with a world-class television platform that exposes their music to the masses, and inspires music enthusiasts and fans across the globe."
