Gear of the Year Awards: What's The Best Electric Guitar Released This Year?

Ding ding. It's round two of voting in the SonicState Gear of the Year Awards, which means it's time to vote for the best new guitar released this year.

In 2013 we've seen a number of tweaks to classic models, with updated releases and reissues of some cult favourites.

We've also seen a number of new models and releases from some renowned manufacturers and luthiers.

When we asked you to vote for your favourite pedal earlier this month, over 80 pedals were nominated, and you began your way whittling this figure down to five.

So once again, we've got a huge shortlist of guitars. The top five most popular guitars will then go through to the final shortlist, and a winner will be chosen by the SonicState editors, writers, reviewers and bloggers.

We'd ask you to base your decision on a number of factors, such as design, build quality and value for money. But beauty is in the eye of the beholder, so just vote for the one you like the best. If your favourite guitar isn't on the list, you can nominate it in the 'other' field at the bottom of the poll.
