Rock Edition Of SessionBand

UK Music Apps Ltd has  launched a dedicated Rock edition of its award-winning, chord-based music app for iPad and iPhone. Here's their press release with all the details:

SessionBand Rock (Volume 1) enables musicians and non-musicians to create their own professional quality Rock tracks in minutes by selecting and joining together chord blocks and watching them convert into editable audio loops.

Inside SessionBand Rock there are over 16,000 chord-based, copyright-free Rock and Metal audio loops created exclusively by three of the world's top session musicians.

What makes SessionBand unique is that all the content is chord-based, making it possible for users to quickly and easily create full and complete backing tracks for any song...without playing a note! There are 15 very different classic Rock and Metal styles included, ranging from Led Zeppelin, Rolling Stones and Chili Peppers through to much harder styles like Slayer, Slipknot and Megadeth!

Content is downloaded with the app itself and resides there, so users can create music anywhere  - without the need for ongoing internet access. SessionBand apps also come with professional features like automated mixing, auto-transpose, one-touch recording, real-time tempo shift and Audiobus compatibility - allowing users to seamlessly export content into other music apps like Apple's own GarageBand.

SessionBand Rock features some of the world's top session musicians: Drums - Ralph Salmins (Gary Moore, Tori Amos, Jeff Beck, Alice Cooper, Paul McCartney, Alanis Morissette, Van Morrison, Jim  Steinman, Meat Loaf, Sheryl Crow, The Waterboys...); Guitars – Adam Goldsmith (Brian May, Meat Loaf, Robbie Williams, Elton John, Will Young, Ronan Keating, Beverley Knight, Gloria Estefan...) and Bass – Geoff Gascoyne (Sting, Georgie Fame, Van Morrison, Bill Bruford, Gloria Estefan, Jamie Cullum...)

SessionBand apps have already been selected as 'New and Noteworthy' in App Stores in Germany, Austria and Switzerland and have been endorsed by stars such as Jamie Cullum who describes them as "extraordinarily useful".

Pricing and Availability:

SessionBand Rock  - Volume 1 is on sale in the Apple iTunes store priced £5.99/$8.99/€7.99

Unbelievable app. If you're a musician there's nothing out there like it. you get thousand and thousands of royalty free rock loops included and a player that allows you to bolt them all together. There are demos included also to get you started. Awesome!
