Casio CZ1000 Phase Distortion Synth Sampled


Binary Music has announce a new library, PD1000, a collection of sounds from the Casio CZ1000 Phase Distortion synthesizer.  Originally manufactured in 1985, the CZ1000 was a full-size version of the CZ101. Notable users included The Human League, Moby, The Orb, Eat Static - it was perhaps most famously used by Vince Clarke.  Their library contains 108 patches made from 1,349, 24-bit samples and includes all of the original factory ROM sounds.

PD1000 is available as an instant download for £18 / €21 / $23 for Kontakt and £15 / €17 / $19 for Live and EXS24, including VAT in EU.

The CZ5000 was my first synth :) I would buy the library if I hadn't already sampled about 200 patches from my hardware ;)
