Maulabs announce MidiBlob plug and play performance oriented multi touch controller      17/03/14

Maulabs has announced MidiBlob for the Blofeld, a plug and play performance oriented multi touch controller for your Blofeld synthesiser.

A spokesperson told us, "By manipulating a 3D scene (the Blob) with a set of very intuitive interaction MidiBlob can modify and control your synth sound to a depth that cannot be reached with traditional controllers. Filters, envelopes, modulations, wave characteristics are under direct control of your fingers, the iPad become an extension of your instrument. No configuration needed. MidiBlob will come in different versions for different synthesisers. The Waldorf Blofeld is the first supported synthesiser, others will come soon."

MidiBlob works with any Core MIDI compatible interface or with a network based Core MIDI connection, and it is a iPad application. It runs on iOs 6.x and 7.x.

Pricing and Availability:
$6.99 at the App Store.

I just released an small update of MidiBlob for the Blofeld; it add a new SF-like graphic theme, and settings to control the sensitivity to finger movements. Also a new, nicer, web site is online, with a FAQ section for support.
