Teenage Engineering continue their release of quirky electronics (see our OP-1 review), this time with the OPLAB - this is a USB/MIDI/CV/Digital input interface board that allows you to create a boatload of interesting DIY projects and connections as well as sync MIDI to DinSync and MIDI to CV and USB.

There's a great set of wonky videos from their OPLAB "genius friend" Mr Yuri Suzuki, showing various applicatios for the little translator board.

Its very much in the same spirit as Arduino or Raspberry Pi, but with greater simplicity, the in-to-out (and out-to-in) translation seems to be embedded on the board itself, requiring no command line coding or suchlike.

You can buy it online now as well as various other stylish (but expensive) accessories.
