Ding Ding Music says that their book series, Graphically Enhanced Manuals, are unique manuals that explain software applications with a visual approach not found in any other book - much easier to learn, providing much better understanding and much more fun. They tell us that their books for GarageBand X, GarageBand for iOS, and Logic Remote are the only comprehensive manuals available for those apps.

The books are available in three formats: PDF file, printed book on Amazon, or interactive iBook on Apple's iBook Store

Author, Edgar Rothermich, had this to say...

"Unlike a regular publisher, I keep my manuals up-to-date and email new pdf files to my customers when available. iBooks from Apple's iBook Store receive an automatic update notification. Due to the print-on-demand feature, all my printed books on Amazon are updated  at the same time when I update the pdf file.

All my books are available in this enhanced iBook format for the iPad (and also for OSX 10.9). They provide a powerful learning tool where I added up to 500 terms in an interactive glossary that is linked throughout the book content with popup menus of the illustrated explanations of the term. The format lets you also create flashcards based on the glossary terms with a tap of your finger and much more. I can provide you with a download link for the iBook format of my books upon request."
