When sending high priced guitar gear by mail, you should always get insurance, and this is why.

The above picture shows a Line 6 Bogner DT50, one of the biggest, heaviest, sturdiest amps we've ever reviewed on SonicState.

The amp, as you can see, is smashed to pieces, with the joints on the top panel of the amp completely broken apart.

Jonathan Castillo uploaded the picture to Facebook group "Gear Talk: P&W" after sending the parcel to his friend via USPS.

Jonathan claims the picture shows the state in which his friend discovered the amp when the package arrived.

"The build quality on this thing was fantastic. Super solid and weighed a good amount... 70 lbs. I'm going to go with an accidental drop. Had to be," said Castillo.
