Hal Leonard Corporation has released Hal Leonard PlayAlong, an iPad app for amateur to professional musicians who want to learn, play, record, share and perform their favorite songs using the latest iOS technology. The new app is available now on the iTunes App Store for free with an in-app store for optional song title purchases.
Chris Koszuta, digital media product manager, Hal Leonard Corp, told us, "Our company mission has always been to help people learn and perform music better. Hal Leonard PlayAlong allows us to continue on that path and use the latest music technology to help musicians of all levels sound amazing."
Here's more details in the Company's own words...
Hal Leonard PlayAlong is the first mobile app that combines interactive sheet music, pro-quality audio tracks and powerful practice/performance tools along with premier songs from the Hal Leonard catalog. The app provides the most instrument options and the largest variety of musical styles; hits from artists such as Taylor Swift, Adele, The Beatles, Frank Sinatra, Coldplay, the Eagles and Pink Floyd as well as hundreds of other top artists are conveniently available.
Musicians can rest assured that they are learning to play songs correctly. Hal Leonard PlayAlong features only authorized, highly accurate music notation and professionally recorded backing tracks to provide a great user experience. The app is easy to navigate and allows musicians to organize songs by "Set Lists" or as part of their larger "Library." There is also a section to store the musician's own PlayAlong recordings, which can be easily shared.
