MFB was created in 1976 by Manfred Fricke and in 1980 he made the MFB 501, their first drum machine. However it wasn't until 2001 on the 25th anniversary of MFB  that Manfred released the company's first synthesizer; the MFB Synth. Since then the company has released a whole host of different low priced analogue synths, drum machines and eurorack modules particularly favoured by many producers who work for Mute records - Flood, Daniel Miller and Gareth Jones. Perhaps the most eagerly awaited is the new Dominion 2 mono synth, which we have been trying to get for review for months!

In this video Uwe George gives a run down of his involvement in the company and a sneak peak at a couple of new products. You can catch Uwe with all the new MFB products at NAMM.
