NAMM 2015: Portable Acoustic Amplifier

Bugera has announced the release of the AC60 portable 60-Watt acoustic instrument amplifier. They say that the 2-channel combo amp features a Turbosound 8" dual-cone speaker, easy-to-use active channel EQs, and an onboard Klark Teknik Multi-FX processor with 16 presets including reverb, delay, echo, chorus and a variety of combination effects. Here's more details directly from Bugera...

The AC60's Channel 1 High/Low switch accommodates both active and passive pickup-equipped instruments and boasts a 3-band EQ (Bass/Mid/Treble) optimized for acoustic guitar. Channel 2's Line/Mic switch allows the user to select the input source, and the XLR Combo jack accepts either line-level instruments – or dynamic and condenser microphones. Dedicated clip indicators on each channel take the guesswork out of setting optimal gain levels.

A convenient 3.5 mm Aux Input jack allows the connection of an external MP3 player, drum computer, etc., making the AC60 ideal for practicing or performing with prerecorded tracks. An FX Insert is provided for use with external effects devices, along with a dual footswitch jack for Mute and internal FX (FSB102B footswitch not included).

Pricing and Availability:
The Bugera AC60 will be available at an U.S. MAP of $299.99
