LVC-Audio has announced the release of two new plug-ins: Limited-MAX and Limited-T. They tell us that both plugins are limiters, but they take two different approaches. Here's the explanation in their own words...

Limited-MAX is a mastering limiter with all of the bells and whistles. This includes dithering controls, mid/side processing, k-metering options, and inter-sample peak metering. What makes Limited-MAX unique is that it dynamically switches limiting between three different processes to accomplish a transparent sound. This includes some borrowed technology from ClipShifter to handle tough transient peaks. All controls to the dynamic algorithm processing are configurable through an X/Y control interface and display.

Limited-T is geared for buss limiting. In some respects, it is a slimmed-down version of Limited-MAX; however, Limited-T adds a host of vintage features to add glue to busses and individual tracks. Using the same amp modeling features found on PreAMPed, Toned, and TonedPLUS, Limited-T has 5 selectable amp models. Additionally, Limited-T extends "vintage modeling" by simulating many of the unique hardware characteristics found in analog limiters and compressors.

Pricing and Availability:
Limited-MAX is priced at $64.95 USD, and Limited-T is priced at $29.95. For a limited time, both plug-ins can be purchased together for the price of $70.00.
