This is one for the DIY crowd. Synth Rotek have very definitely upped their game this year with the release of a full line of eurorack modules designed in collaboration with George Mattson.

I first heard about Mattson Modular when I saw Billy Corgan's (Smashing Pumpkins) huge Mattson Mini Modular system. Inventor of the buffered multiple, George Mattson has got a lot to add to the eurorack world.

The full line of modules includes; a MIDI/CV convertor built in collaboration with Division 6 that can do analogue clock to MIDI, VCO, LFO, Audio/CV mixer, buffered mult, LP filter, a dual envelope, dual VCA and a stereo mixer with dual stereo out and panning per channel. This is also the first full voice of eurorack that is available as DIY.

Also on show was the DSM modular drum synths, full analogue construction that can cover a wide range of sounds from kick drums to bells.
