Max For Cats - the team who are creating devices using Max For Live have a new modular synth environment called Oscillot.
We caught up with Michel Sanchez-Infante who took us through the system. In this video Michel, who is a Certified Ableton Instructor and teaches at Utrecht's Pyntago Opleidingen - it turns out Utrecht is a hotbed of synthesis and music technology - he likens it to the Nord Modular programming environment - he uses Oscillot to teach synthesis with. Oscillot has over 100 freely patchable modules with which to create your modular patches.
Note - he's Dutch and pronounces Moog with an "oo" - just saying.. ;-)
Oscillot is available now via Ableton at $99
