Plugin Boutique are soon to release Carbon Electra which they describe as a 4 Oscillator subtractive synthesiser featuring informative displays, editable step sequencer, vocal filter, integrated distortion and analog control. It is based on vintage analogue routing and features flexible modulation options including an editable stepper and note performer.
A spokesperson told us, "Carbon Electra has been developed to not only be a powerful and easy to programme synth, but also to serve as an advanced synthesis learning tool. There are no hidden menus and the plugin includes informative physics based graphic displays with a comprehensive info pane. Best of all, it sounds incredible."
Developed by Davide Carbone, Carbon Electra will ship with a library of over 600 factory and artist presets covering sequences, chords, motions, bass, leads, keys, pads and effects. It includes artist presets by: Mike Huckaby // Kosheen // Freemasons // Carl Cox // DJ Pierre // D Product // Rob Lee // Dom Kane // Timo Garcia and more.
Carbon Electra will come in VST2.4 32bit and 64 bit & Audio Unit formats and is available for both Mac and PC.
