Koma Elektronik began in 2011  when friends Wouter and Christian launched with two flagship pedals : The FT201 and BD101.

5 years on and the company has expanded their product line to include Eurorack modules and more recently the massive Koma Komplex sequencer - which is just shipping.

Production head Benjamin

Here's Benjamin, the man that most likely touched all the boards of your KOMA products as he is our production head honcho. Here he is checking the PSUs for the upcoming Komplex Sequencer.

Koma Komplex firmware checking

Christian and Robert are checking the firmware of the Komplex Sequencer.

Something new under revision..

Florent is showing us his latest discoveries for an upcoming KOMA device. The first steps are always small but very important. That's why we like to make a proof of concept in MAX/MSP to virtually check all the possibilities of our ideas. After this meeting, we ordered the parts for prototype 1, which is now in full development.

Koma main development room
In the main room of our office, we work both on machines and day to day business.  It's great to have a big space where the whole company can meet and work on projects simultaneously. Imagine loud techno music and bad jokes, then you get the vibe of a normal Wednesday.

Otto working on new stuff
Although most of the company is very busy with the upcoming release of the Komplex Sequencer, we have to keep on innovating and researching new ideas and concepts. Here, Otto has taken over a chunk of our production room to work in quietness on figuring out and testing the technical essentials of the next KOMA release.
