Birdkids are relatively newcomers to the modular market, with their first product the Bateleur being released last year.

The Bateleur is a discrete core VCO with an integrated filter and a VCA. So essentially a full mono voice module. However it has a little trick as it can perform through-zero frequency modulation to completely widen the palette of sounds.

Mike also showed off the rest of the prototype modules on offer, with a full system called the Birdsnest and some interesting talk about a distribution mixing bus.
