Superbooth is a new Berlin based synth focussed show running March 30th-2nd April at the stylish Funkhaus building on the banks of the Spree in Berlin.
Its organised by SchneidersLaden, the legendary synth dealer in the city, and driven by the ever energetic Andreas Schneider. He's been running the Superbooth concept at both Musik Messe and more recently NAMM, where he brings together the community of smaller synthesizer manufacturers to represent in style.
The Superbooth show, continues that tradition, but larger. In its first year, many manufacturers are not going to be at Musik Messe (a week later) instead choosing to exhibit at the more specialist show in Berlin. It looks set to be a great event, and has already generated a lot of interest. We expect it to be a permanent fixture on the show calendar.
Superbooth is held in the beautiful Funkhaus - the stylish, 1950s, East German broadcast building on the banks of the Spree. See the video above for a tour of the building.
As well as a massive list of exhibitors, including the bigger companies, there are numerous workshops, presentations and live performances held in architecturally stunning surroundings.
We will of course be sending a team to cover the event. Be sure to check out our posts and live blogs from the show. We cant wait - Berlin is an exciting, vibrant city which has recently attracted a number of electronic music artists to move over.
