The new Music Thing Modular Turing Machine was announced a few days ago, adding some new functionality to the very popular DIY module.

The Turing Machine (if you didn't know already) is a device for making pseudo-random pitch and rhythmical loops.

As well as that we got a look at some prototypes that Tom had on offer.

The first of which was a guitar pick up module. When you hover different electronic devices over the pick up weird buzzes and hums are produced.

The second prototype was a very interesting tape head module. Tom had some cut up 1/4 inch reels taped to a board which he then scrubbed over with a tape head on a cable.
