Bob Moog's influence on modern electronic music and production cannot be underestimated, much of the history surrounding his engineering has been well documented, but as is often the case, the man behind the bigger story takes a back seat.

The people behind the excellent "I dream of wires" modular synthesizer documentary (Robert Fantinatto and Jason Amm) have teamed up with Michelle Moog Koussa, Bob Moog's daughter  and the Bob Moog Foundation, to embark on such a work. Together they are working on a documentary to discover Bob's personal journey from his birth in New York, to settling in Asheville NC where Moog Inc. still reside today.

The project has launched on Kickstarter as a campaign ending on May 25th 2016, with a variety of rewards and funding levels available. The final documentary is expected to be completed in Spring/Summer next year.
